The Zhokoudian cave complex contains evidence of Homo sapiens sapiens dating as far back as 18,000-11,000 B.C. The site is not only an exceptional reminder of the pre-historical human societies of the Asian continent, but also illustrates the process of evolution. The assignment consisted on an analysis of the visitor flow and how site supporting buildings are arranged around the excavation site, in order to find ways to enhance the presentation of the complex and provide better information and facilitate visitor experience.
